World Ends At G20

Just kidding of course.

A dramatic shift is soon to be seen as the fear of G20 causes known tax havens to close their borders to financial criminals — a historical change for one country at least. Switzerland will be adapting O.E.C.D. taxation recommendations, with claims of protecting the poor, the small and the ugly. That is, to say, third-world growth is what the G20 says is at the top of their agenda this year — and by top, I mean right after ‘the world is ending’ and ‘the world is ending (part two).’

Really, I doubt anyone sees a serious connection between tax evasion and poverty in the third world — but you don’t question the G20, right?

Oh, and opinion author John Lochlan referred to the Tamil Tigers’ actions as a civil war in Sri Lanka. That’s likely to get some uproar.
