Since the Russian conflict with Georgia six months ago, contacts between NATO and Russia had been frozen. NATO today revealed that high level ties will be renewed in an attempt to combat what is unanimously being referred to as the “bigger issue”, Afghanistan. Bolivia Gets Russian Helicopters to Fight Drug Trafficking

Bolivia will recieve Russian helicopters to fight drug trafficking and farming. The two countries have just closed aid agreements after a round of diplomatic talks, the latest of which was between Presidents Evo Morales and Dmitry Medvedev.
