Some States Ban Stem Cell Research

When earlier this month it was first rumoured that President Barack Obama could overturn a Bush administration policy banning embryonic stem cell research, there was the expected bipartisan uproar at the notion. Cheney: Obama Raises Terrorist Risk

In an interview with CNN’s “State of the Union,” Sunday, former U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney accused the Obama administration’s policies regarding anti-terrorism of opening the door for future attacks. Brazilian President Visits White House

In a bid to reaffirm ties between the U.S. and Latin America, Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva attended a meeting with President Obama at the White House on Saturday, making him the first Latin American leader to do so.
