Really, the day has been fraught with news that the U.S. government has/had no respect for the constitution, Cubans would be replacing much of their cabinet and federal officials, and the FTC has identified a new breed of Internet scam, one that is making ample use of the recent Obamarama around the world to prey on those who aren’t aware.

News came out from the U.S. government and whistleblowers today that both Obama sent a ’secret’ letter to Russia to discuss what could be considered a compromise of security, and rationalizing the missile shield proposed to be placed on Polish land as being simply to defend against Iran; and more interestingly, the CIA destroyed 92 tapes of probable abuse and illegal interrogation techniques, while paper after paper released by the Obama administration admit that the Bush administration ran somewhat of a constitutional deficit.

The Madoff family, known best for their multibillion dollar Ponzi operation reportedly submitted a request with a New York court to have all of Ruth Madoff’s assets — including the Manhattan penthouse Bernard Madoff is currently under house arrest in — excluded from any rulings, saying that they should not be seized, as they are unrelated.
